The Post Rock Community Foundation, a charitable organization serving all of Lincoln County and the communities of Unified School Districts #298 and #299, held officer elections for the new fiscal year during its July meeting and welcomed a new board member.
Katie Meyer and Tyler Gier were elected Board Chairperson and Vice Chairperson, respectively, while board member Becky Rathbun will continue her service as Board Secretary. Outgoing Chairperson John Baetz will continue to serve as a voting member of the board. Longtime board member and outgoing Vice Chairperson Joe Biggs concluded his service to PRCF after nine years. New board member Michelle Hair, Biggs’ co-worker at The Bank of Tescott, was welcomed to the board at the July meeting.
“The Post Rock Community Foundation would like to express a heartfelt thank you to outgoing board member Joe Biggs for nine years of dedicated service,” new Chairperson Katie Meyer said. “Thank you for your service in helping to enact meaningful work and change within the Post Rock area.”
