Post Rock Community Foundation now accepting grant applications

The Post Rock Community Foundation is now accepting applications for fall grants. Online applications are due Monday, October 1, 2018. Over $59,000 in grants are available within the Post Rock service area, which includes all communities served by USD 298 and 299. Funding includes $50,000 from the Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund; $4,198 from the Post Rock Community Action Fund; $4,476 from the Post Rock Healthy Living Fund/Kansas Health Foundation Fund; and $924 from the Sylvan Area Fund. Community foundation awards over $60,000 in grants

The Post Rock Community Foundation recently awarded over $60,000 in spring grants to area nonprofits. Grants were funded through the foundation’s Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund, the Post Rock Healthy Living Fund and the Kansas Health Foundation Fund. The following organizations received funding: Lincoln County Economic Development Foundation, $13,000 to develop a countywide master plan focused on increasing healthy lifestyle opportunities for residents.
