Post Rock Community Foundation now accepting grant applications

The Post Rock Community Foundation is now accepting applications for fall grants. Online applications are due Monday, October 1, 2018.

Over $59,000 in grants are available within the Post Rock service area, which includes all communities served by USD 298 and 299. Funding includes $50,000 from the Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund; $4,198 from the Post Rock Community Action Fund; $4,476 from the Post Rock Healthy Living Fund/Kansas Health Foundation Fund; and $924 from the Sylvan Area Fund. Grants will be awarded through a competitive application process to charitable community improvement projects that address the present and future needs the community, including education, health care and public health, community social services and security, conservation and environment, arts and culture, and community beautification. Detailed criteria for each fund is available online.

Nonprofit organizations, government and public entities, educational institutions and churches are encouraged to apply. Applications must be submitted online by 11:59 p.m. on October 1. Funding guidelines and the grant application are available at http://postrockcf.org/search-apply-for-a-grant.
